Old Phuul: Accepted

Now for the news you have all been waiting for… Old Phuul has been formally accepted by my current publisher, Inspired Quill ( https://www.inspired-quill.com/ ). As of this evening, I have signed and sent-off the contract, so my long-awaited second novel seems destined for 2024 publication. Huzzah.



Yes, this means an eight year gap between Wise Phuul and Old Phuul, but in my defence, those eight years also saw copious short story writing, and Wise Phuul is basically self-contained, so had I been hit by a bus, you would still have had a complete story arc. As it is, I hope Old Phuul sparks your interest. To recap, this novel is set in the same world as Wise Phuul, which means more steampunk-flavoured dark fantasy, and necromantic protagonists. Rhea Phuul is the elder sister of the first novel’s main character. Old Phuul also features the hitherto unseen city of Tuonako, so we get to see another part of the Viiminian Empire.
