Well, if nothing else I’m in a slightly better headspace this week. A large part of that is down to attending the Chiltern Kills Festival on Saturday. It was the inaugural event, with proceeds from the weekend going to Centrepoint UK, including a proportion of the takings from the #ChilternFills food vendors who were in attendance. It was a lovely sunny day, and the team had organised a great selection of panels featuring a variety of authors. The early start for me and Mandie to drive down to Gerrards Cross was definitely worth it. As we won tickets for the event, we’ve made a donation to Centrepoint which you can also do by heading over to their website .
Various panels from the day including authors: Top Row: Helen Field, William Shaw, Cass Green, Alexandra Benedict and Howard Linskey; Phil Williams (Radio Two) with Frederick Forstyth; Fiona Cummins, Ed James, Clare Mackintosh, Jane Casey & Gytha Lodge Bottom Row: Paul Waters, Laura Marshall, Cate Quinn, Leye Adenle and Susi Holliday; Tony Kent, Imran Mahmood, Nigel Lithman KC, Kate London and Neil Lancaster; Phil Williams & Natalie Jamieson with Imran Mahmood, Mark Billingham, Tony Kent and Clare Mackintosh in the Bestsellers Podcast Live.
Now it wouldn’t be a book festival if i didn’t come home with a few books
