In the lead-up to ARR2024 in March 2024 we will be spotlighting the authors who will be signing. In the spotlight today we have Savannah Blaize . Savannah will be signing in Melbourne.
Who was the first romance author to catch your interest?
Nora Roberts
How long have you been reading romance?
I joined Melbourne Romance Writers Guild in 2014, so I guess I have been reading and writing romance specifically since then. Prior to that time, I just enjoyed reading stories with a variety of themes, including romance.
What genres do you write?
Contemporary romance, paranormal romance, fantasy romance, small town with a mystery, and I just started writing a rom com.
What his your favourite part of creating a story?
a. The excitement of having a story pop into my head.
b. The connection with readers.
Tell us about your latest release:
My last release in 2021 was the second book of my Heart of the Devil series entitled Devil in the Details . I had to take a break from writing for 18 months, to downsize from my house of 35 years to an apartment.
What else are you working on at the moment?
I am trying to finish my third book of my Heart of the Devil series, entitled Devil Made Me Do It . Plus, I started to write a rom com, because the idea for the story kept me awake one night. However, I have parked that idea several chapters in, to concentrate on finishing my Devil series.
