Well … on a positive note, this week includes my pay day. That’s nice. That’s pretty much all I got for ya this week. Work continues to be a pain in the arse making me too tired to do anything productive in the week. Weekends continue to be full of reading – something nice at least – and, this weekend, walking the long way from the car to the front door with the shopping to save having to wade through several inches of water in the back garden. Got off lightly compared to many, and the birds are loving having a thirty square foot plus bird bath, so that’s nice … Also, I got carrot cake from a local bakery (Immi’s Cakes & Bakes if anyone is passing through Shropshire – open Friday/Saturday) so that’s nice too.
The most exciting thing to happen all week – finding some Nightmare Before Christmas decorations in Sainsbury Image shows Jack Skellington tree decorations, string lights and a light up Oogie Boogie.
Book wise, I have had quite a quiet week. Sort of. For me. No book post – nothing unusual about that these days as publishers are looking to save money and I mostly read e-books anyway. I rarely get any I haven’t paid for and this week I don’t seem to have ordered any for delivery
