Atom #1 - 1st issue

Atom #1 Atom v1 #1, 1962   - Exiled from his own dimension, Jason Woodrue uses his knowledge of plants to commit fantastic crimes. Ray Palmer intervenes in costume, only to discover wood nymphs at his command. This first issue , following the Atom's debut in  Showcase #34 , has one full length feature rather than the more typical two short stories. Woodrue would later become the Floronic Man. This Gardner Fox story was drawn by Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson.
