The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher is $1.99! I’ve enjoyed Kingfisher’s first horror novel, The Twisted Ones . If you want something spooky but is light on graphic or sexual violence, it’s worth a try. I haven’t checked out this one just yet, though it is on my radar.

The Drafter
The Drafter by Kim Harrison is $1.99! This is book one in the Peri Reed Chronicles , which is sort of a futuristic suspense novel with a building romance. I thought this one was okay, as I was overwhelmed by a lot of the world building details. You can peep my Lightning Review here .
