In the lead-up to ARR2024 in March 2024 we will be spotlighting the authors who will be signing. In the spotlight today we have Emma Mugglestone . Emma will be signing in Melbourne.
Who was the first romance author to catch your interest?
Jasmine Guillory’s The Wedding Date
How long have you been reading romance?
I’ve been a huge fan of romance books for the last ten years.
What genres do you write?
I write steamy and swoony contemporary small-town romances.
What is your favourite part of creating a story?
Editing is my jam. Getting the words on the page and accepting that first drafts are meant to be messy is not my favourite thing.
Tell us about your latest release:
I’ve just released a prequel novella Wattle It Be? to introduce readers to the world of Wattle Junction, which is the setting for my upcoming novel, The Reality of Us .
What else are you working on at the moment?
My debut The Reality of Us was released in December and some writing buddies and I have put together a super-fun Christmas anthology called All I Want For Chris-mas inspired by Hollywood’s sexiest movie star.
