One week of the new year down already. What do I have to show for it? Norra lot actually. this might be a very short post. I’m on a diet, so grumpy. Exercising (in support of said diet), so tired. My tinnitus has been in overdrive since late December, so I am also very irritated (and not sleeping so not helping with the aforementioned tiredness). It may be that the tiredness is impacting the tinnitus, meaning I am stuck in a vicious circle, but it is sure as hell annoying either way. Constant and un-ignorable (is that even a word?). I haven’t done anything but work, read and hibernate other than that, other than catching up on blog reviews, so I am going to re-share an old picture to remind us all of sunnier, happy times.

Happy days. Memories of a couple of summers ago out on a Sunset Cruise around the Farne Islands. Can’t wait to be able to do this again later this year. Always a pleasure.
As far as books go, I’ve had a pretty quiet week. No book post, but wasn’t expecting any. One new Netgalley title, The Mind of a Murderer by Michael Wood (28 Mar) courtesy of One More Chapter. New. books wise, I only have the two Amazon Prime First Reads titles, We Ate The Dark by Mallory Pearson (01 Feb); and Almost Surely Dead by Amina Akhtar (01 Feb). Poor for me, I know. It is only the first week in Jan. Give me time
