Countdown to the Book Launch

For  most of the
books I write, doing a book event with the illustrator just isn’t a
possibility. We live in different states, or even different countries.

That’s why I’m so
excited about this Saturday. Since Rob Dunlavey and I live less than an hour
apart, we decided to do a joint book launch to celebrate our new book Whale
Fall: Exploring an Ocean-floor Ecosystem . If you live in the Boston
suburbs, we hope you’ll join us at 11:00 a.m. at the Silver Unicorn Bookstore at 12
Spruce St. in Acton, MA.

And if you can’t
make it, you’ll have a second chance on April 22 at Wellesley Books in at 82 Central
St. Wellesley, MA. Join us at 2:00 p.m. for more fun and festivities.

We can’t wait for
young readers to discover the incredible deep-sea ecosystem that supports
thousands of species, millions of individual creatures over a 50-year time
span.
