Who was the first romance author to catch your interest?
There were so many Mills & Boon authors responsible for my romance addiction but if I had to pick just one, I’d have to say Emma Darcy—what a legend!
How long have you been reading romance?
Since school, when my mum would bring home huge piles of Mills & Boon novels from the library each week during the holidays. I had to learn to read quickly and quietly so I could get through them before she noticed, and because she was such a fast reader, they’d all be gone by the next week
What genres do you write?
Always romance, but I like to mix it up—from contemporary to sci-fi, and from paranormal to— well, I can’t give away any secrets about what’s coming next!
What is your favourite part of creating a story?
Turning a scene into a whole story, watching the world build on the page, sharing it with my writing group and watching their faces light up.
Tell us about your latest release:
My latest release is actually the re-release of my debut novel Rules Are Meant to be Broken , for which I’ve just gotten back the rights so I can give it a shiny new cover and put it on sale whenever I want.
What else are you working on at the moment?
The Ravencroft Witches are three fiesty AF Aussie girls who have their whole world flipped upside down when they travel to France and find an ancient grimoire, an evil curse, and more men than they think they can handle. Turns out that last part isn’t true, but it takes them a while to realise it. There is also one half-finished story that’s been languishing in my bottom drawer for far too long … it’s Halloween-themed, so let’s see if I can finish it in time for October!
