In the lead-up to ARR2024 in March 2024 we will be spotlighting the authors who will be signing. In the spotlight today we have Ali Lee . Ali will be signing in Brisbane.
Who was the first romance author to catch your interest?
The Trilogy of Meagan Brandy, LJ Shen and Ilsa Madden Mills reignited my love of romance novels.
How long have you been reading romance?
Full time – about six years now! But really … much longer before that.
What genres do you write?
I write paranormal romance and contemporary college romance.
What is your favourite part of creating a story?
Creating characters that people love or love to hate. If you can generate a debate between readers? Where people genuinely care about these characters? You have done something right.
Tell us about your latest release:
Anomaly is my debut release! My first published work. I’m so excited to share it. It’s a paranormal romance, urban fantasy about a girl who discovers who and what she really is … all because she meets a boy.
What else are you working on at the moment?
I’m currently in the editing process for my next paranormal romance, Raise , which just hit #1 on Wattpad Werewolf lists. And I am co-writing a fantasy/witchcraft novel with an amazing writer from the US, Nicole Mullaney.
