Captain Marvel #19 (2001)

Last issue ended a story with Rick missing an arm and both he and Genis Vell having been…Beaten to within inches of their lives.



This issue starts with Genis Vell having a series of dreams where he is married to Songbird, meets his dead mom, fights Magus the evil version of Warlock, and fights Rick…



























In reality, he’s in a pod with Thanos and Thor trying to save his life.  He wakes up at the end.



It’s a solid character issue, even if it doesn’t advance any storylines.
