The Picks:
Kitten Ninja GN – AMP Kids releases the origin story of the incredible Cat Ninja! Before growing up and becoming Metro City’s greatest defender, Cat Ninja was a tiny, adorable Kitten Ninja. He had to battle much tinier foes, but the feline hero was still ready to take on everything a kitten-size ninja has to battle. Kitten Ninja faced such dastardly foes such as a sun spot that won’t stay put, an irresistible ball of yarn, and every cat’s archenemy, snow! Fans of Cat Ninja, heartwarming stories, and cats will love this new graphic novel.
Hilo Volume 10 Rise Of The Cat GN – Random House Graphic continues the adventures of Hilo, but this time featuring Hilo’s favorite magical warrior cat! Polly’s adventures with Hilo have landed her into trouble. After breaking too many rules, she gets sent to Wombatton, the magical boarding school for bad kids. After arriving, Polly notices something strange going on at the Academy of Better Magic. Everyone seems to pick on her roommate, and students have started disappearing. Polly decides to investigate, determined to get to the bottom of the magical mystery and reunite with Hilo and her friends on Earth! Filled with action, humor and heart, fans will not want to miss this new installment.
