X-FACTOR #1-4 (2002)

It starts without subtlety.

A mutant is essentially crucified, and the new Mutant Civil Rights Task Force of the FBI goes out to investigate.

This is what you’re looking at in this series.  The X-Men that appear do so only in flashbacks and brief frames—as flavor, not as the main course.  This book has nothing to do with the X-Factor team.

It’s basically Gotham Central only about mutants and not anywhere near as interesting or good.
