“Balek Lives!”
Recovered from her battle with Rejak the tracker, Sonja raced eastward to find a mysterious sorceress known as Neja. That Nemedian hag was the last known chronicler to the kingdoms of Thros and Skurga. She alone could reveal what the gold key of Balek kept locked. Frank Thorne is now leading in the giant fantasy robot artwork contest. All those fall beside him in this epic battle between Red Sonja and the mechanical avatar of Balek. The art here is way better than the Conan the Barbarian series that became Marvel Comics flagship for several years.
After reading the first three issues of Marvel Feature, I’m glad I was lucky enough to find the other issues in the run. Go get them if you can. The Red Sonja arc runs from issue one to issue seven. I give issue three four out of five stars.
