WRITING WRITING WRITING COMICS

I'm deep into writing a lot of one page comics just now. I have 30 artists lined up to draw stories for me this summer.  I write them in a series of panels on a page. This allows me to factor in page layout, and therefore reading flow, at the writing stage. Then, to give the artist autonomy in how they lay it out, I convert what I've written into script form. It's an interesting process, with pros and cons.
