ARR2025: guest author

We’re thrilled to announce our first special guest author for ARR2025— Nalini Singh !
Nalini Singh is the New York Times , USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of the Psy-Changeling, Guild Hunter, Rock Kiss and Hard Play series. The first book in the Psy-Changeling series, Slave to Sensation , was named as one of the New York Public Library’s 125 books from the last 125 years that inspire a lifelong love of reading.
Both the Psy-Changeling series and the Guild Hunter series have won multiple ARR Awards, of which Nalini is extremely proud!
She also writes New Zealand-set thrillers, the most recently released of which is There Should Have Been Eight . Her second thriller, Quiet in Her Bones , has been optioned by Showtime Networks.
Born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand, Nalini was first published in 2003. Her books are available in print, audio, and ebook, and have sold over eight million copies worldwide. They have also been translated into multiple languages, including German, French, Italian, Japanese, and Turkish.
We’ve been inviting Nalini to our Romantic Rendezvous since 2019 and the stars never quite aligned—but now they have! We cannot wait to welcome Nalini to ARR2025. (We’re working on the second guest and hope to have an announcement soon.)
We’re also pleased to say we are returning to the Jasper Hotel for the Melbourne events (including the awards dinner). Our very first convention and awards dinner were held at the Jasper Hotel in 2009. That was also the event where many of us first learnt about Nalini Singh, when we received an excerpt booklet from Angels’ Blood , and so started our love affair with Nalini.
