How do you use the new ComicScene Social?
It’s easy.
BE LISTED IN THE COMIC COMMUNITY DIRECTORY
If you are a pro or indie creator or involved in the comic community you can sign up for the Comic Community Directory 2025. It is FREE using the very easy to use online form. This Directory will be promoted to the comic community, schools, libraries, community groups. You can include your details here
POST DIRECT ONTO COMICSCENE SOCIAL
Once you are in the Directory you will be given details of how to post on the ComicScene Social website . Your stories will look like this on a desktop but can also be accessed on tablet and mobile phone.
People who subscribe to the website will get these stories direct to their email. Here on this newsletter will be a weekly summary of news stories. ComicScene and you can share on social media.
On ComicScene Social you can include text, pictures and video as we have 200GB of data for you to use, like the story below.
ADD FAST COMIC NEWS
When you sign up to the Comic Community Directory you can also add Fast Comic News. This is text only with all your latest updates and is posted directly via the website. Fast Comic News can be found here
JOIN COMIC THEME WEEKS
Throughout the year we will run comic theme weeks. You can post your stories, share your comics, run your blogs, podcasts or vlogs during the theme weeks. There should be one or more theme weeks that suit your comics or your interests. We will also be launching the ComicScene Awards as part of this. The Theme Weeks can be found here
GET YOUR OWN COMIC STORE
For Comic Theme Weeks you may want to set up a store front on our partners website. We can arrange the sale, print the publication (via Print On Demand), package and post out the comic for you. If you want to sell in comic shops and bookstores we can arrange the ISBN number for you and promote to the shops for you. For example Tara Togs The Silence of Unicorns hardback and special edition hardbacks are POD here and Raising Amy is POD here
FANS HAVE YOUR SAY IN FANDOM
‘Fandom’ can be used by comic fans to comment on the latest comics or comic news. You can read this section and put up your comments here
CONTRIBUTORS WALL
It helps if you donate to ComicScene Social each year to help sustain the website and work we do behind the scenes. Contributors will be placed on the Contributors Wall. THE MORE YOU USE COMICSCENE SOCIAL THE STRONGER WE BECOME TOGETHER
Working together the Comic Community can have a stronger voice on ComicScene Social than social sites like Facebook, X and Instagram. We have 30% hits to our projects from ComicScene Social and only 3% from Facebook, X and Instagram.
