Rose is an attractive thirty-ish woman. Nearly six feet tall and Hispanic she generally turns heads wherever she goes. That is generally the catalyst for most of her character flaws. She gets emotionally attached to the wrong people and she has an issue with anger management. Both of these flaws always seem to be getting her into trouble.
Portia is a gorgeous woman, close to Rose’s age, who changes partners like most people change their underwear. Portia loves the thrill of the chase and quickly tires of her prey once she has them. To Rose’s credit, she did share her humiliating romantic betrayal with Portia once she got wind of it. Portia, being Portia ignored the juicy secret, and the two set out on one torrid relationship.
The idyllic romance starts to unravel when Portia talks Rose into doing something that would potentially humiliate Rose if she were discovered. Rose being Rose was discovered. Rose thinks Portia set her up but didn’t push the issue. The other shoe fell when Rose returned home early and found Portia in bed with a girl she’d picked up at the gym. Enraged Rose let her anger run havoc and took it out on the muscle girl. Once she proved her point she stormed out of her apartment hoping to never see Portia again. Or did she?
