I saw this challenge on Joanne’s wonderful Portobello Book Blog , and couldn’t resist having a go myself. The idea is to spell your handle using books, and while I’m no longer particularly active on social media, I decided to use my old handle of TinyIckleJo as it’s one I’m quite fond of, and it offers a little more variety than all the Os of Jo’s Book Blog.
Finding the books wasn’t a problem, even with that pesky J, but I wasn’t initially sure how to create the graphic. But, after a little experimentation (and, I’ll admit, a touch of frustration) here we are! The books I’ve chose are all favourites of mine, combining some recent and not-so-recent titles. I’m particularly pleased with the O and the two rabbits from the cover of Oryx and Crake !
