Jimmil, the son of the ship’s captain, hasn’t always lived up to his mom’s expectations, but when the ship is stranded on a strange alien planet, he and his friends will have to do what their parents couldn’t. As the galaxy’s only hope, they must explore the surface, discover the secrets of the terrifying race that lives there, and try to prevent a full-scale war. Last Comics On Earth – Viking Books for Young Readers releases a spin-off based on the series Last Kids on Earth. At their local comic book store, Jack, Quint, June, and Dirk have made a starting discovery: They’ve read every last issue of their favorite comic, Z-man, and no new issues are coming…ever! Faced with a challenge like no other, our heroes have only one choice: write and illustrate their own comic book. Continuing Z-Man’s legacy, they cast themselves as super rad, super goofy, superhero protectors of the mysterious city of Apocalyptia. What could possibly go wrong? You name it. Fans of Last Kids on Earth will love this hilarious, action-packed graphic novel.
