Non fiction that fits here of 1 cent per word Theme: Science Fiction Poetry Star*Line is the official print journal of the SFPA, established in 1978. It is a literary venue for speculative (including science-fiction, fantasy, and horror) poets and poetry enthusiasts, and features interviews, articles, reviews, member news and letters, association business, and poetry—by members and nonmembers. Meet the Editor Jean-Paul Garnier assumed the editorial mantle as of issue 44.3. He lives and writes in Joshua Tree, CA where he is the owner of Space Cowboy Books, a science-fiction bookstore, independent publisher, and producer of Simultaneous Times podcast. In 2020 his first novella Garbage In, Gospel Out was released, and in 2018 Traveling Shoes Press released Echo of Creation, a collection of his science-fiction short stories. He has also released several collections of poetry: Future Anthropology (currently being translated into Portuguese), Odes to Scientists (2019), Betelgeuse Dimming (2020), and Utopian Problems (2021). He is a five-time Elgin Nominee and also appeared in the 2020 Dwarf Stars anthology. He is a regular contributor to DreamFoundry.org‘s blog and short-story editor at Aphelion. About Star*Line In January 1978, Suzette Haden Elgin founded the Science Fiction Poetry Association, along with its two visible cornerposts: the Rhysling Awards and the association’s newsletter, Star*Line. Star*Line has become not only an SFPA forum and networking tool, but a literary magazine for poets of the genre persuasion: imaginative poetry from hard science fiction to high fantasy, from the macabre to straight science, and from rigid formalism to experimental and surrealist works. Subscriptions NB: A Star*Line subscription includes four quarterly issues of Star*Line. It does not include the annual Rhysling Anthology, Dwarf Stars, SFPA nominating or voting rights or the other benefits of full SFPA membership.
