‘Fast X’ May Be Getting Split into Three Parts Rather Than Two
Fast X’s first installment arrives in theaters this month, as moviegoers had the impression that the Fast & Furious saga’s conclusion was just around the corner. But it seems like the popular action series might go on a little while longer. Two years have passed since the debut of the ninth chapter of the Fast series, which began in 2001 with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker at the helm. Even after harsh criticism for the lack of realism in its action sequences and the odd way the plots developed, the saga has continued for more than 20 years and has grown into a global sensation.
This month, Fast X makes its theatrical debut, and star Vin Diesel is telling fans that the end may not be as near as they thought, hinting that the final installment could be divided into three parts instead of two, as originally planned:

It wouldn’t be shocking if they decided to continue the franchise given the massive numbers it has generated at the ticket office. In truth, Hobbs & Shaw , a 2019 spinoff featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, was the first significant expansion of the tale. Due to the disagreements between The Rock and Vin Diesel, it was also intended to create a different trilogy.
Even if that film franchise didn’t pan out, Fast & Furious had its animated series on Netflix, and Vin Diesel had numerous spinoff concepts he wanted to pursue, including one starring the franchise’s female stars, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, and others.
Fast X hits theaters on May 19.
