1 Spider-Boy Solo series
I actually am intrigued by the Spider-Boy character, but how the flim flam flying fuck is this rando getting an ongoing before characters like Silk, Spider-Gwen, Kaine, Spider-Girl, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Orange, Threadhead, Super Tarantula, and Boy Spider. Okay, I made the last four up, but I am sure they will also be getting ongoings soon.
2 John Romita Sr
Spider-Man is my favorite character in all of fiction and few individuals loom larger in his history than John Romita Sr. His incredible artwork transformed not only the character, but the lives of everyone around him as well. If you have a moment, try to read some of the tributes people have written to this great man . May his memory be a blessing.
3 Comixology’s Updates

4 Mary Jane As Jackpot
So like, I actually do not hate this. One of my favorite comics, Renew Your Vows, gave MJ powers. I just do not have much faith in Marvel’s ability to execute here. The fact that the writer is most famous for my little pony does not inspire confidence. That being said, MJ is a phenomenal character and I am going to support her because she deserves more than she has gotten up until now.
5 BatCat Status Quo
I just do not understand who this is for? Who has looked at the past like 80 years of these two and thought “hmm, I am still not convinced if they should be together”? Like, just shit or get of the pot DC
6 Manga Creator Schedules
Worst Job Ever
7 Variant Cover Sets
I actually love this idea in theory, but is there a reason so many have to suck now? Looking at you, endless series of uninspired Spider-Verse variants
8 Donny Cates books not written by Donny Cates
I applaud Donny for taking the personal time he needs to get healthy, but isn’t this far from the first time he has left readers hanging? Maybe we stop letting him do super long arcs
9 Comic book “fans” who harass creators and then wonder why top creators do not want to work on the books
Looking at a few of you, Amazing Spider-Man readers. Jed MacKay and Chip Zdarsky have both straight up said they do not want to do ASM because of the fans.
10 People Who Leave Thoughtful Comments On This Site
I just wanted to let those of you who take the time to politely engage with us, even when disagreeing, that we really do appreciate it. All of us write for this site for free, so its nice to know people are really thinking about what we have written.
