HOT 10 COMICS
1 Spider-Man (2023) #7 Humberto Ramos Variant
WRITER : Dan Slott
ARTIST : Mark Bagley
$35-45. Wow. Sooooo many sales this week. It was definitely the talk of comic podcasts and chat boards this week. This doesn’t pass the sniff test to me since the writer was pumping this book pre-FOC…
2 Blue Beetle (2006) #1
WRITER : Keith Giffen
ARTIST : John Rogers
9.8=$200+. 3rd print up to $250 in 9.8. This is almost reaching the price of #5 below. While this is Jaime’s first solo series, it still isn’t his first and I’m trying to wrap my head around why it would sell for almost as much as the 1st…
3 Kanan: The Last Padawan #6
WRITER : Greg Weisman
ARTIST : Jacopo Camagni
9.8=$450-500. It’s weird, the consensus I hear from Star Wars junkies is this is not a 1st appearance…yet people still put their money here. I’m no expert so I will default to those that follow this stuff closely and not some app.
4 Kanan: The Last Padawan #1
WRITER : Greg Weisman
ARTIST : Pepe Larraz
9.8=$250-300 after being below $200 all year. Sabine, Sabine, Sabine. The Ahsoka trailer looks good so it’s not a surprise that Sabine books are getting a bump…except that we all knew this was going to happen like 2 years ago lol.
5 Infinite Crisis #5 Jim Lee Cover
WRITER : Geoff Johns
ARTIST : Phil Jimenez & Andy Lanning
9.8’s=$275-300. Several books this week are roller coaster books that are back on their scary hills. The George Perez cover sells for way less than this Lee cover if you haven’t noticed.
6 Star Wars: Heir to the Empire #1
WRITER : Mike Baron
ARTIST : Olivier Vatine & Fred Blanchard
9.4=$250; 9.6=$340; 9.8=$1500-1600. This is a 20% or more increase as opposed to last week. This one just keep coming back and now that we finally got a glimpse of the Admiral, people are back on board again…again.
7 Jabba’s Palace #1 Ryan Brown 1:100 ‘Virgin’ Variant
WRITER : Marc Guggenheim
ARTIST : Alessandro Miracolo
$150-175. This is a great Jabba cover and this is an unusually high incentive variant for a Star Wars book. I wonder what the reasoning was on making a 1:100…
8 Sonic The Hedgehog 5th Anniversary #1 Jonathan Gray 1:50 Variant
WRITER : Ian Flynn
ARTIST : Tracy Yardley
$125. Another 1 shot Sonic book. They keep doing these and for some reason, these high incentive variants keep doing well out of the gate.
9 Tim Drake: Robin #7 Serg Acuna 1:25 Variant
WRITER : Meghan Fitzmartin
ARTIST : Ricardo Lopez Ortiz
Up to $100-120. Unlikely many stores ordered more than a handful of this book, which is why this doesn’t have an abundant presence online anywhere.
10 Poison Ivy #11 Seb McKinnon 1:50 Foil Variant
WRITER : G. Willow Wilson
ARTIST : Marcio Takara
$80-100. Dang this cover is excellent. Simple. Moody. Not sure the foil adds anything to the art–maybe I’m alone, but I think I’d rather DC do spot foil rather than all foil on some of these.

Indigo Children #1 Jenny Frison 1:75 B/W Variant
WRITER : Curt Pires & Rockwell White
ARTIST : Alex Diotto
$200, was $120 last week. Appears that people seem to like the story and a high incentive ratio from a hot artist seems to hit the trifecta for collectors.
Foxhole #1
WRITER : Various
ARTIST : Jack Kirby (cover)
CGC 3.5=$1800. Such a sobering cover IMO. No one today can really feel what it was like on the battlefield 75 years ago. This seems to be a decent representation.
