1 Spider-Man: Reign Sequel




Spider-Man Fans: We want Peter to grow more as a character.  Over the last several years he has often felt stifled.  Please, try some new things
Marvel: Okay, how about Killer Spider-Splooge 2: Electro Boogalo.  Oh also we are going to make Peter a Goblin now
Spider-Man Fans: Wait, what?









2 Ayers Cut




Are we going to do this for every garbage DC movie now?   I cannot wait to watch the director’s cut of  Batman and Robin  where Arnold makes even more ice puns.












3 Fall of X
So its still very early on, but I am REALLY impressed with Marvel’s Fall of X line.  The Krakoan era has been very successful for Marvel, so it takes a fair amount of creative vision to blow up the core premise as they have and explore the implications in a meaningful, detailed manner.










4 VFX Workers Unionizing
GOOD!!  Their working conditions were insane .












5 Angela
I still think its insane that Neil Gaiman spent decades suing for the rights to this character so he could sell them to Marvel.  Also, Marvel, this character is awesome, do something more with her!  How are you struggling to make a half-naked red-haired lesbian pirate bounty hunter happen?  Thats the coolest character description ever.










6 James Gunn
Who knows how his movies will turn out, but it is awesome to see Gunn out there hustling for DC’s comics.












7 BRZRKR
Did anyone actually like this?  I am not trying to be rude, I am legitimately asking.  I have seen a lot of hype, but very little in the way of actual praise.  Maybe I just missed it










8 Ultimate Universe Is Coming Back!
Maybe this time you don’t pointlessly kill half your characters , run an incest storyline , or release an Iron Man / Black Widow sex tape .  Just a couple random thoughts I had.












9 Complete Marvel Reading Order
Absolutely phenomenal comic book research tool.  Would highly recommend










10 Batman / Santa Claus: Silent Night
The solicit for this is absolute batshit, balls-to-the-wall comic book absurdity and I love it.  I never knew the biggest thing missing in my life was a swole Santa Claus solving crimes with Batman.  The 1:25 Shasteen variant pictured to the left is particularly wild.

Beta Ray Bill By Daniel Warren Johnson
This series, particularly the first issue, was absolutely incredible.  It takes an incredible amount of artistry to render something as absurd as a horse-faced viking space god in such human terms, but DWJ absolutely nails it.










Sales Charts (Sort Of)!!!
Sadly, the distributor wars have rendered true sales charts with actual order numbers a thing of the past.  If, however, you want to at least see some relative rankings, we finally have decent data again!
